S.T.A.N.D. to Exhibit Artwork at the BOV Volleyball Marathon 2026
With just hours to go before the BOV Volleyball Marathon gets underway, we’re delighted to announce another meaningful addition to this year’s event.
Throughout the marathon weekend, visitors to the MFCC in Ta’ Qali will have the opportunity to visit an inspiring art exhibition by S.T.A.N.D. (Is-Sehem Tagħna għall-Avvanz tan-Nies b’Diżabilità – Striving Towards Ability Not Disability).
Founded more than 20 years ago, S.T.A.N.D. is a registered non-governmental organisation dedicated to supporting people with disabilities and promoting their inclusion within society.
Art with a Purpose
The exhibition will showcase artwork created by the people supported by S.T.A.N.D., offering visitors the chance to appreciate their creativity, talent, and unique perspectives.
Each piece tells its own story and reflects the abilities, passion, and individuality of its artist.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase the artwork on display, with all proceeds being donated to Id-Dar tal-Providenza.
It’s another wonderful example of organisations coming together to support a common cause while celebrating the talents of people with disabilities.
Be Part of the Experience
The BOV Volleyball Marathon takes place between Thursday 16th and Saturday 18th July at the MFCC in Ta’ Qali, bringing together sport, music, family entertainment, and community initiatives in aid of Id-Dar tal-Providenza.
While you’re enjoying the volleyball, live performances, food, and activities throughout the weekend, be sure to stop by the S.T.A.N.D. exhibition.
You might just leave with a beautiful piece of art and the knowledge that your purchase is helping make a difference.
We look forward to welcoming you to the MFCC for what promises to be an unforgettable weekend of community, generosity, and inspiration.
