Player Applications Officially Open for the BOV Volleyball Marathon 2026

Applications are officially open for athletes who would like to be part of this year’s 53-hour volleyball marathon. Players will take part in training sessions ahead of the big event, with 40 athletes eventually chosen to participate in what is one of Malta’s most inspiring fundraising sporting events.

Every year, the marathon brings together athletes, volunteers, supporters, and sponsors to raise funds for Id-Dar tal-Providenza, which requires approximately €7.5 million annually to continue providing the highest quality of care and support to its residents.
Beyond fundraising, the volleyball marathon also sends a powerful message about inclusivity, teamwork, and community spirit through sport.
If you are looking for a unique challenge this summer and want to make a real difference while being part of an unforgettable experience, now is the perfect time to step onto the court and apply for the BOV Volleyball Marathon.
